On 10-14 October 2011, a Royal Thai Air Force delegation led by Air Chief Marshal Itthaporn Subhawong, Commander in Chief, Royal Thai Air Force, and Mrs. Napaporn Subhawong paid an official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force.  The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and exploring the possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two Air Forces.

During the visit,  Ambassador Marut Jitpatima and Mrs. Jiraporn Jitpatima hosted a dinner in honour of ACM Itthaporn Subhawong and Mrs. Napaporn Subhawong as well as other Royal Thai Air Force delegates at the residence on 12 October 2011.
